How To Use a Text Widget

If you haven’t used a Text Widget before, don’t worry. It’s easy!

1. On your Dashboard sidebar, click on Appearance and then Widgets.
2. Find the Text widget in the list. They’re alphabetical, so it’s near the bottom.
3. Click and drag the widget to your sidebar.
4. Then copy and paste in whatever HTML you want.
5. If you put more than one sidebar badge in your widget, click Enter twice between them, to leave a space so you can tell where the HTML starts and ends (for later editing). Then click the Automatically add paragraphs box, or the images will run into each other when they are displayed.
6. Remember to click Save!
