How is your blog going? This week our homeschool blogging class is taking inventory. We have about one month left in our semester, so now is a good time to look back at what we’ve accomplished and to look ahead at what we want to work on for these last few weeks.
First, let’s review our “Grading” Rubric for the blogging class. Are you making progress on the tasks? Have you completed any of them? What do you still need to work on? [Don’t worry about the last task, the blog carnival. We’ll be doing that next week!]
Do you have any questions about blogging? Is there anything you want to do, but you can’t figure out how to make it work?
Of the posts you’ve written so far, which one is your favorite? What do you like about it?
Next week we will each be sending in one post to the Homeschool Kids’ Blog Carnival. Which post do you think you’d like to show off to more readers?
List 4 things (one for each week left in the class) that you would like to accomplish on your blog this semester.
Computer time: Work on whatever you want.
Homework: Write. Read. Comment on classmate’s blogs. Think about which post you’re going to submit to the carnival. . .
